TeamViewer - Software for Remote Access

Hello friends,

Yesterday my friend had a presentation. But unfortunately, his laptop does not have an VGA port (most of new laptops don't have),  and projector available supports the VGA only. I offered him my laptop but he had installed a software which he required during PPT and there was no time to install that on my PC. He asked me to find a way because this presentation was very important. And then what came to my mind was "TeamViewer". I connected my laptop to the projector and he delivered the PPT by remotely controlling his laptop.

Now you will be thinking that what does the TeamViewer do?
TeamViewer is one of the world wide leading solutions for desktop sharing. In simple words it helps you to remotely control the another PC from your screen only. It transfer the screen of one PC to the another for remote access.

The next question is how to use TeamViewer?

Step 1. Download the TeamViewer on both the PC.

Step 2. Install the downloaded file.

Step 3.  Now run TeamViewer on both PC. You will get this screen.

Mobile Air Bags

The days of worrying about cracking our phones' screens after dropping them could be over, because airbags for smartphones may soon become a reality.

The patent for the airbag-like protective technology has just been granted to Amazon, listing its CEO Jeff Bezos and Vice President Greg Hart as the inventors.

In a nutshell, the technology would use various sensors to detect if the phone is at risk of damage from impact, before deploying the one or more small airbags embedded in the phone, to cushion it from shock.

The system may also utilize gas or springs to soften the impact of a fall.

Improve Battery Life of Your Laptop

Are you tired of poor battery life from your Windows laptop? If so, we're here to help. Our battery-saving tips will help you get the most out of your laptop's battery, so you can leave the power adapter in your bag a little longer.

1. Use Windows power plans (schemes)
Begin with the most aggressive battery-saving options and customize the power plan as you go. In Windows 7, start with "Maximum Battery Life" and adjust the settings to your preferences. These settings will tell Windows to adjust the brightness when running on battery, when to dim the display, when to turn off the display, and when to put the computer to sleep.

2. Advanced power settings
While adjusting power plans, click on "Change advanced power settings" and set the period of inactivity before Windows turns off the hard disk.
