Hello friends,
Yesterday my friend had a presentation. But unfortunately, his laptop does not have an VGA port (most of new laptops don't have), and projector available supports the VGA only. I offered him my laptop but he had installed a software which he required during PPT and there was no time to install that on my PC. He asked me to find a way because this presentation was very important. And then what came to my mind was "TeamViewer". I connected my laptop to the projector and he delivered the PPT by remotely controlling his laptop.
Now you will be thinking that what does the TeamViewer do?
TeamViewer is one of the world wide leading solutions for desktop sharing. In simple words it helps you to remotely control the another PC from your screen only. It transfer the screen of one PC to the another for remote access.
The next question is how to use TeamViewer?
Step 1. Download the TeamViewer on both the PC.
Step 2. Install the downloaded file.
Step 3. Now run TeamViewer on both PC. You will get this screen.
Step 4. Now, you may either share your ID and Password with a friend to share your machine or acquire one from your friend to access his/her computer.
Step 5. The requester must enter the partner’s ID and hit the button Connect to Partner. Following to this you will need to authenticate the session by entering the password.
Step 6. And the screen has been shared. Now help your friend or request for a help.
You can also Sent or Receive files if you select File Transfer.
There is a lot more you can do with TeamViewer. Just explore or I will discuss these in any other post.
